Today Adam delivered the masters for the companion cavalry mounts, the mould had some webbing(my fault) so it will be tomorrow before we can list the packs. In the meantime I painted one of the horses and gave it to the rider I painted some time ago.
I am away for a week’s holiday from this Tuesday(3oth Oct) so there will be a delay on the posting of orders and email replies.
We have just finished the elite versions of the Seleucid Cataphracts, the Agema. There are 4 packs in total and a 12 figure unit deal (UD83). Adam designed the packs as front and rear ranks but they can be mixed as desired. We will add the Companions next, they will have a new horse with 1/2 armour, more Hellenistic style armour and no leg armour. That will leave us the Thureophoroi advancing, the Thracians and a Galatian guard unit. Byzantines after that so please don’t ask for more successors as we have drawn a line for now on that list.
We have just finished the first of the Seleucid Cavalry units, the Line Cataphracts. Agema and Companions next. I have shown the second set of legs we will supply with the HCS10 levelled weapons pack, this allows the lance to be pointed towards the grounds(that pack has 3 bodies but 4 sets of legs). We will also do a deal with all weapons upright if asked.
We have had an issue over the weekend that caused the online store to stop receiving notifications from Paypal. This has been sorted but required a rollback of the database. This has resulted in the loss of several new accounts created after the rollback point. No order details or payments have been lost, we have all in hand ready to cast and post. If you find your account is gone please start fresh by creating the account again. We can send copies of the order details that have been lost from the missing accounts if you need to check them over.
We do not know what caused this issue, it hasn’t occurred before and seems to have been a corrupted file.
We have started remaking the moulds for the Phalanx figures, to date the unarmoured headless PH28,Linothorax PH29 and the 2 commands have been completed PH13+14.(Update – PH1-12 also now done.) This has allowed us to make small changes to the figures. The two commands have changed to contain 4 useful figures ie only 1 musician instead of 2.
The rest of the figures should be complete by end of this week start of next. Meanwhile the mounted and dismounted command figures and the seleucid cavalry are progressing well.
