Adam has been at me to do Ptolemaic phalangites for some time so when he had completed the later style linothorax he had to have some. That said they will do all the Later successor armies. The character pack is also useful in the imitation legionary units, the Thorakitai units etc.
So pleased that I ordered these 2 packs of the characters – the painted phalanx has come up very well. Colour scheme is one I have been thinking about (from the later Macedonian Armies Osprey) so it is great to see it in the flesh. Lots of atmosphere in the figures.

They are lovely, I like the idea of painting the whole linothorax the same colour.
Those Ptolemaic pikeman are outstanding,I will definitely need about 30 of those bad boys!
