Update on Companions and Short break

Today Adam delivered the masters for the companion cavalry mounts, the mould had some webbing(my fault) so it will be tomorrow before we can list the packs. In the meantime I painted one of the horses and gave it to the rider I painted some time ago.

I am away for a week’s holiday from this Tuesday(3oth Oct) so there will be a delay on the posting of orders and email replies.

Nice Romans by Kent Stuart Galpin

One of our customers is having his figures painted by Kent, they have kindly allowed us to show the results.

Seleucid Agema

We have just finished the elite versions of the Seleucid Cataphracts, the Agema. There are 4 packs in total and a 12 figure unit deal (UD83). Adam designed the packs as front and rear ranks but they can be mixed as desired. We will add the Companions next, they will have a new horse with 1/2 armour, more Hellenistic style armour and no leg armour. That will leave us the Thureophoroi advancing, the Thracians and a Galatian guard unit. Byzantines after that so please don’t ask for more successors as we have drawn a line for now on that list.
